CloudOps

Azure – Resource Group Auto-Discovery and Enable Alerts and Activity

  • To provide more flexibility to users when configuring alerts, automatic discovery has been enabled for newly created Azure resource groups, along with selection options, accessible via an alert’s configuration settings. This will provide users with stronger options for both automatic and manual alert configuration.
  • As part of this, one new configuration option has been added for creating an alert – Subscription Level – in addition to the existing Resource Group Level option:
    • Subscription Level -- Enables alerting for all existing and future resource groups within the onboarded Azure Subscription. This approach creates a default action group in one resource group that applies across the Subscription. Any new resource groups will inherit this default action group for alert configuration automatically.
    • Resource Group Level – Allows users to manually select specific resource groups from a drop-down menu and enable alerts for them. Newly created resource groups will appear in the drop-down but will not have alerts enabled by default, allowing users to configure them as needed.

Assessments

Edit Custom Frameworks

  • Users can now edit custom Assessment framework information such as Pillars, Questions, Best Practices, and policy mappings to a best practice directly from the user interface. Editing frameworks is only allowed if the framework is not part of any active assessment.

Platform

Rename OSCAR to FinOps/SecOps/CloudOps

  • To better align with current product naming standards and terminology, the login page, left navigation menu sections (Operations, Security, Cost, Compliance, Access, and Resources), and the Reports page have been updated in the platform to use the latest product names, such as FinOps, SecOps, and CloudOps.
