Summary

CoreStack 2504.1 expands financial governance beyond cloud infrastructure with the introduction of FinOps Visibility for SaaS, while significantly advancing FinOps for Kubernetes through BillOps-driven chargeback, margin control, budgeting, and forecasting. The release also delivers major enhancements to filtering and dimension capabilities, enabling customers and partners to model complex business structures and perform deeper, more precise cost analysis across cloud & Kubernetes workloads.

The release expands AI-driven insights, security compliance coverage, and reporting depth, enabling teams and partners to scale services efficiently while improving financial governance, compliance posture, and operational transparency.

FinOps

FinOps for SaaS – New Capability

Feature Description

CoreStack 2504.1 introduces FinOps for SaaS as a first-class capability, enabling governed cost visibility and analysis for any SaaS providers alongside cloud and Kubernetes spend. Using FOCUS-aligned ingestion (CSV based) and onboarding, SaaS costs can be centrally onboarded, analysed, and reported through unified dashboards.

Feature Description

This release significantly expands FinOps for Kubernetes by introducing BillOps support using CoreStack Dimensions. Organizations and partners can now apply pricing rules, charge allocation rules, and margin logic to Kubernetes workloads, along with budget tracking and cost forecasting at cluster, namespace, or business-dimension levels. Agent-based ingestion ensures accurate association of in-cluster and shared infrastructure costs. Initial support for AWS EKS.

CoreStack 2504.1 delivers major enhancements to Dimensions and filtering, enabling customers and partners to model complex organizational structures and perform deeper financial analysis using advanced filter operators and logical grouping capabilities.

  • Advanced filter operators including IS NOT, Contains, Does Not Contain, and Starts With.
  • Logical grouping support using AND / OR conditions for complex dimension definitions.
  • Dimension configuration enhancements to support complex, query-based filter logic.

  • Weekly and Quarterly granularity for time-based analysis with additional time-presets and preset groups.

S3 Lifecycle Policies

Feature Description

Four new Lifecycle policies have been introduced. Two Cost Optimization policies analyze usage patterns and provide cost-saving recommendations along with estimated savings. Additionally, two CloudOps policies analyze operational conditions and deliver actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and governance.

AppSecOps Dashboard Enhancements

Feature Description

The Vulnerability Graph widget is now a separate page by itself accessible through a left navigation menu.

AppSecOps Dashboard supports a new filter 'Fix Available' across all the widgets, which indicates if a vulnerability has a fix available for affected components.

Vulnerability aliases as additional column is available in all Vulnerability Details pages and in “Risk Prioritized Software Supply Chain Vulnerabilities” Widget.
