Integrated Tools

Jenkins

Jenkins can be added as Integrated tool and governed through CoreStack.

Steps to add:

Go to Setting (ICON) – Select Integrated Tools – Select Jenkins and ‘Add Account’

Enter all required inputs and click on NEXT.

Select any role type listed in the Authorization tab and click on FINISH to complete the account addition.

Zabbix

Zabbix can be added as Integrated tool and governed through CoreStack.

Steps to add:

Go to Setting (ICON) – Select Integrated Tools – Select Zabbix and ‘Add Account’.

Enter all required inputs and click on NEXT.

Triggers & Actions page will be loaded, Add a New Configuration by click on +Add New option and Select the items that are required 1) Template 2) Item 3) Trigger 4) Cloud Service 5) Cloud Account 6) Resource Type 7) Cloud Management Action 8) Execution Time and Save the configuration.

Once added it will listed as a tile and you can add another Trigger.

Click on Next and you select any Role listed in the Authorization tab and click on FINISH to complete the account addition.

JIRA_ServiceDesk (Beta only)

JIRA_ServiceDesk can be added as Integrated tool and governed through CoreStack.

Steps to add:

Go to Setting (ICON) – Select Integrated Tools – Select JIRA_ServiceDesk and ‘Add Account’.

Enter all required inputs and click on NEXT.

Triggers & Actions page will be loaded, Select Project from Drop-down Value and (Multi)select Description From Description Drop-down List. Give Summary Text to help identify incident created from CoreStack in JIRA portal.(Optional) – Give Valid Assignee and Click on Next.

Select any Role listed in the Authorization tab and click on FINISH to complete the account addition.

ServiceNow

ServiceNow can be added as Integrated tool and governed through CoreStack.

Steps to add:

Go to Setting (ICON) – Select Integrated Tools – Select ServiceNow and ‘Add Account’.

Enter all required inputs and click on NEXT.

Activation:

In the Activation section you can select the Request Management, Configuration Management, Change Management and Incident Management types that can be managed by CoreStack.

Management Services that can be added to be monitored by CoreStack are:

Management Services Types
Request Management Request
Configuration Management CMDB
Change Management Change
Incident Management Incident

Triggers & Actions:

Under Triggers & Actions, we can provide the requisite settings to manage Request Management , Change Management and Incident Management Sections

  • Attribute-Mapping:
    • Valid Request ID (Listed in Drop-down value from service now request) Should be Selected in Request Selection Field
    • Request attribute Should be mapped with Set Default Options after Request id population
  • Additional-Mapping:
    • Action Mapping is done with Set Default Options after Request id is populated.
    • User can also click Add New to add Service now CoreStack actions mappings as per user preference
    • Status Mapping is done with Set Default Options after Request id is populated.
    • User can also click Add New to add Service now CoreStack Status mappings as per user preference.
  • Catalog:
    • Click Add New to add Service now CoreStack Catalog mappings as per Catalog availability
    • Map With respective Category catalogs for Request Management Flow

Incident Management :

  • Others:
    • Configuration Description, Caller of the incident with Incident state and Assignment Group Details can to be Given (Optional) for effective management of Created Incidents

Change Management :

  • Change Configuration:
    • Change Description, Affected CI/Service of the request with state , Reason for Change with Risk Assessment Factors can to be Given (Optional) for effective management of Created Incidents
    • On Click Next Should Navigate to Authorisation section

Click on Next and you select any Role listed in the Authorization tab and click on FINISH to complete the account addition.
